                   CRTC seeks comments on National Do
                 Not Call List and Telemarketing Rules

OTTAWA-GATINEAU — The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications
Commission (CRTC) today released a public notice asking for input on the
development and operation of a National Do Not Call List (DNCL) and on
telemarketing rules.

The CRTC has been authorized to establish a national DNCL, select a
third-party administrator for the national DNCL, and to levy
administrative monetary penalties.

Anyone interested in commenting without participating in the full public
process, may do so in writing via mail, fax, or on a web-form at
www.crtc.gc.ca or by calling toll-free, 1-866-481-3838 by May 10, 2006.
