Until there is Asterisk support for many of these new features on the 
Linksys/Sipura phones perhaps the 9000 is a worthwhile investment.

On the otherhand it is the traditional lock in approach of PBX vendors. Switch 
and phones must be bought from the same vendor.  This is not as bad since other 
SIP phones will work but just miss some of the features.
