[*] Asterisk on FreeBSD

Hi,

I made the switch recently to FreeBSD for most of my servers a few
months ago. Main reason for this is ease of use, reliability and its
secure. Updates are really simple. 3 or so simple commands and your
done. Installing applications from the ports collection (collection of
software patched and developed to work on freeBSD) is "make install
clean" and it fetches all the dependencies and compiles them and your
done. Not to mention it is better documented then any linux distro I've
found, and more reliable and secure then many default linux installs.
Anyways, back to the point.

Since then I realized Asterisk was in the FreeBSD ports. And I've moved
my two boxes over. I'm only using a SIP trunk to les.net and then an
IAX2 trunk between the two asterisk installs with a few phones between
the two. So I can't comment on any of the PRI support under FreeBSD. So
far I've found it to be very reliable and stable.

I was wondering if anyone else runs Asterisk on FreeBSD and if so what
results you've found so far. Any issues or bugs you've noticed or
benefits over running it on one of the many linux distros?
