As I was saying last night WebRTC is very early it the process of becoming a 
standard. The push right now is to have browser developers incorporate support 
for it in their code.

Currently the best site I found about WebRTC is

Ericsson Labs has modified WebKit to implement a sub-set of the WebRTC API. Only 
Ubuntu 11.04 is supported.

With these mods the Epiphany browser supports WebRTC. They also have a demo 
video chat application.
