[MUUG meeting announcements]

The Manitoba UNIX User Group (MUUG) will be holding its next monthly
meeting online, on Tuesday, January 12th, at 7:30pm:

    Open Source Solutions for Remote Work

    Alberto Abrao and Troy Denton will give an overview of free and/or
    open source solutions for modern remote work needs.

    Topics include:

      * Video meetings - hosting your own with Jitsi. Existing free(!)
        services, and self-hosted installation.
      * VPN - how to host your own with wireguard.
      * Office 365 alternatives: NextCloud and Collabora Office.
        Overview and installation.

The group holds its meetings at 7:30pm on the second Tuesday of every 
month from September to June.  (There are no meetings in July and 
August.) Meetings are open to the general public; you don't have to be a 
MUUG member to attend.
