[RndTbl] Video in

Kevin, have you ever been able to capture video via firewire under
Linux?

I only gave it a quick try but was not able to do it. While there is
fireware support for Linux, my understanding is each video camera has
proprietary DV/Firewire drivers which of course don't exist for Linux.

Is that correct?
