[RndTbl] ubuntu 7.10 and shaw cable

Sounds very strange and hard to imagine how your system is causing the modem to 
reboot.

Have you tried running wireshark or tcpdump to see what are the last few packets 
you send out before the modem reboots?

Are you using a router or directly connected to the modem?
