	OK. It's not a big thing as long as I know it will only function as an SDR.

	As I recall you should be between coverage areas for TV. You can check 
out http://tvfool.com/ and see what is in your area. You'd need a high 
gain antenna to get anything. If you double up the larger antenna I 
showed you then you might be able to get something from the East 
(Winnipeg) or West (Regina).

	I'm using Mint so things would be in the same repositories. I was just 
curious if mplayer and v4l accessed the tuner hardware only as a tuner 
or used the onboard hardware to decode the signals.

	What are the advantages of more than one unit? Greater gain... 
Triangulation... Pulling out a weak signal masked by a stronger one...
