Bottom line: on April 6th, 2019, your GPS receiver might start spitting out the wrong time.  It’s a Y2K-style problem, the article describes the details.  Make sure your firmware is updated and will handle this even properly, and/or your NTP software will correctly compensate for the crazy time the GPS receiver will start spitting out.
